Looking Glass Land
ISMS Play 2006

On November 10 and 11, the Intermediate/Middle School Heathwood Players presented LOOKING GLASS LAND by James DeVita. Adapted from the novel by Lewis Carroll, this fun play presented a contemporary spin on the classic novel. Familiar characters included Alice, Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee, Humpty Dumpty, and numerous chess pieces, such as kings, queens, knights, and pawns. The production featured more than 60 fifth through eighth grade students in cast and crew positions. In addition, a dedicated group of Upper School students, drama director Dr. Melissa S. Ellington, and assistant director Elisabeth Gray Heard collaborated on various production responsibilities.
