Seussical Jr.
| On April 19 and 20, the Heathwood Players presented SEUSSICAL JUNIOR, a zany musical based on the works of Dr. Seuss. More than 40 students in the 5th – 12th grades worked with director Melissa Swick Ellington and musical director Janis Corley to perform this fun show with familiar Dr. Seuss characters such as Horton the elephant, Gertrude McFuzz, the Whos, the Cat in the Hat, and many more. SEUSSICAL JUNIOR features music by Stephen Flaherty, lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, and book by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty. It was co-conceived by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, with music supervised, adapted, and produced by Bryan Loiselle. |
