Congratulations to the Heathwood students pictured above who received awards in the SC State Fair Art Contest and SCISA Student Art Show, for their work.  State Fair: Lower School winners Lizzie Taylor, Alexandre Cabanel Merit Award for her tissue paper musical instrument collage; Isabella Zeiler, Christo Merit Award for her oil pastel drawing.  Intermediate/Middle School winners Jillian Dubuisson, Joan Miro Award; Brooke Carr, 2-D Award, second place for 6th Grade; and Frances Foster, Anna Hyatt Huntington Award. SCISA: 4th grade student Shelton Blue ("cave art" etching),
7th grade student Logan Ress ("stained glass" done with glue, ink, and pastels), 12th grade student Rebecca Murphy (charcoal drawing of a night train traveling through a city).
